the Riad and me
In the 20 years or so that I have visited Marrakech for business and pleasure, I have developed a deep love and attachment to this very special place. During this time, Marrakech has become my happy place in a completely different way than the many other places I have been allowed to visit. Marrakech with its unique blend of colorful hustle and bustle, its medina, with the diverse souks, unique lovable people, its music, the unique scents, which even today seem like a thousand and one nights, intoxicates and calms me in equal measure. There is no other place that makes my heart smile that way.
My riad is located in a quiet side street, in the middle of the medina, not far from all the important points for you. These include the Koutoubia Mosque, Yes Saint Laurent’s Jardin Majorell the Djemma el-Fna, the Place des Épices and so many more.
In my three-story riad, you can expect three rooms of different sizes, all with modern en suite bathrooms that sleep 2 people each, a small Marrakech-typical pool, a patio, a guest toilet, and a rooftop terrace that is one-third covered, and fiber-optic Internet that is transmitted to all areas via WLAN. I haven’t had the riad resurveyed yet. The old blueprints say it has an approximate size of 120 square meters.
Furthermore, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need awaits you. Fatimzarah is the good spirit at Riad Naciri and will help you with all your needs. In the morning, Fatimzarah looks forward to serving you a delicious, healthy breakfast with everything Morocco has to offer. You will love her legendary homemade msemen. Breakfast is included in the price. Besides getting drinks and all other errands, Fatimzarah also offers Moroccan cooking classes for you.
We are at your side, if you want!
if you need help to plan your trip, you can always ask for inspiration, tips, restaurants and adventures. We love to inspire!
Culinary you will find all imaginable options within walking distance or Fatimzarah will book you a cab. Marrakech has so much to offer here. I’m happy to recommend small local family eateries, fancy rooftop restaurants or any worldfood location you can think of in one of the many international boutique hotels. The possibilities are endless.
Fatimzarah will also be happy to order you a rental car to explore the breathtaking stone desert around Agafay (about 35 minutes by car), the Atlas Mountains (about 90 minutes by car) or the Atlantic coast to Essaouira (about 2½ hours by car).
If you like a driver will pick you up and bring you with his comfortable, air-conditioned large-capacity cab from the airport and is also available to you otherwise. The price for the airport transfer is about € 20.00 per ride.
